3rd year on the team

Major: Economics & Sociology

 Favorite Event: Trick

Best Scores: Slalom - 2 @ 32, 15' off, Trick- 860pts, Jump- 47ft

Experience/Memory:Circling up to sing Varsity at regionals after qualifying for Nationals. Soapy slip & slide. Dropping Mitch's Cake at Nationals and turning around to see Lisa's cake on the ground too!

Anything else:I owe all of my best memories to this team. Live it up while you are there, because unlike what people keep trying to tell me, you have to graduate some time. Mad City Show Ski Team, State & National Champions 2004

Kristin "Kvos" Vos

"Team Mom"

3rd year Senior!

Major: Mechanical Engineering and Technical Communication Certificate

Favorite Event: Team Lake Showers/Pyramid Building

Best Scores: Slalom- Tourney: 2 @ 28 mph (Practice: 2 @ 30 mph, but I still haven't run 28; who does that?)
Trick- 450pts, Jump- ~40ft flops.

Experience/Memory: It's a toss up; the soybeans and trailer by the river at Regionals 2001, the pimps and hoes party and being attacked by leeches at Conference 2002, KU launching a cookie down my shirt, being 3-peat Regional Spirit Award winners, finally singing Varsity at Nationals, Douche and Ann dropping Mitch's bday cakes on the slip and slide, Mike's wetting his pants the first time he saw me get more than one ball @ Dave's...the beautiful boats, lakes, puppies, and people..."athletes, best friends, students, rock stars, and borderline drunks practically simultaneously".

Anything Else: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" ~ Theodor Seuss Geisel

Tim Seegers

Major: Finance/Real Estate

Favorite Event: Wakeboard

Best Scores: 78 ft. Jump, 490 pts. Trick, & 1 Ball @ 28-Off

Experience/Memory: kicking ass at regionals and sectional; hot dogs from polaski, building piramids knee deep in muck, century club, our sweet boat, winning the barefoot/wakeboard tournament, early morning's at KTs, the homecoming real world float, road trips, 914 bourbon st, camping with tents blowing into the lake. etc

Katie ("KTB") Buchanan

Ex-Fundraising Director, Ex- Vice-President
4 years on the team

Major: Political Science and Latin American Studies
Certificate in Global Cultures

Favorite Event: Slalom - but I love all 3!

Best Scores: Slalom - 5 @32mph @15'off; Jump - 49 ft; Trick- 500 pts (All at 2004 Collegiate Nationals! 21st overall!)

Experience/Memory: The moment we realized we were going to Nationals. It had finally happened! Going to Nationals was the best weekend of my entire life. Every moment of it I will treasure forever. Singing Varsity in the water on the last day, dance party at Bennett's, getting 3 PBs and finishing up my college career with my best tournament performance ever. I couldn't have asked for a better ending. 8TH IN THE NATION BABY! (There was also that time when it snowed at Spring Tournament freshman year.....definately won't ever forget that!)

Anything else: I do not respond to Katie anymore...only KTB! I'm from Miami, FL and definately learned to suck it up and ski when it's freezing out! Because of one of my best friends I was coached by the one and only Scot Ellis, and now competitive waterskiing is my life. Being on this team has made my college career the amazing experience that it has been. The friendship I have made will last a life time. This team has the most SPIRIT and LOVE and it has been a priviledge to be a part of it!

Mitch ("The Gerz") Gerczak

Ex-Website Director

Mechanical Engineering

Favorite Event: Women's B-Jump (The crashes are rad!!)

Best Scores: 97ft jump & 470 pts. trick

Experience/Memory: It took place Saturday night at Dual conference, but honestly, it's a little hazy. So, as it stands being the first tricker of the dock Saturday morning during the Spring of 2002 Wisconsin State Tournament (It later decided to snow that day).

Special Thanks to the Belleville Lake Waterski Club of Belleville, MI for thier generosity and friendship.

James Freuchtl

Major:
Landscape Architecture
Favorite Event: Wakeboarding & Partying

Best Scores: I think Seegers got a 600 point run on my board...

Favorite Skiing Experience/Memory: Going to practice and tournaments instead of homework. And, Riding behind one of the sweetest boats on Lake Monona.
